Having been married 21 years, Michael and Susan Gimotty met while doing their undergraduate work at Oral Roberts University and both went on to pursue Master’s degrees at Regent University. Michael owns and publishes very successful local magazines including KC Parent Magazine, KC Baby Magazine, and KC Going Places plus the website KCParent.com. As a former private school teacher, Susan homeschools their four children Michael 12, Madison 10, Nicholas 8 and Grace 6. Susan primarily uses Veritas classical curriculum as well as Abeka. The family’s homeschool motto can be found in 2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” The Gimottys are active members at Providence Community Church in Lenexa.
