Sunrise Assisted Living Center, a new facility at 87th and Lackman, Lenexa, has invited homeschoolers to give a presentation the last Thurs. of every month at 3:30 p.m. for approx. 45 min. to their residents. We perform in the lobby where their grand piano is. Any musical presentations, dramatic interpretation, and recitations are welcome. So far, we’ve had piano, scripture memory, and poetry recitation. The only requirement is that your music teacher or mom determines that your presentation is performance-ready before the date you’re scheduled. You may volunteer to present one time, a few times, or every month, whatever works for your familiy. Each month we will meet in the solarium foyer at 3:15 to determine order of performance and review protocol.
