Internships and Mentoring Opportunities

  • 9 month virtual or in person high school program, 1 hour per month meeting with a mentor going over their own workbook/curriculum covering career paths, mental health, work/life balance, interview and resumes, and more. Career Exploration opportunities are offered (shadow the mentor for a day).
  • Mentors are women currently working full time in the sports industry across many different sports and in many different sectors including public relations, marketing, event operations, social media, and publications.
  • Locations currently in Madison, WI (where the founder is from) and Seattle, WA,
  • Opening fall of 2026 in KC (KC Urban Youth Academy), Omaha, and Lincoln
  • In person sessions are free, virtual is $50 (scholarships are available).
  • College program is $80 and is only virtual
  • College Scholarships available for Seniors who have gone through the program.

Do you have an especially gifted young artist interested in graphic art, fashion design, photography, architecture?
A limited number of advanced art students have a great opportunity for an internship.
  • The 2-day art intensive class is scheduled for September 17 & 18, and is available in person or online.
  • Create a portfolio including murals, graphic art, fashion design, etc.
More info on the art intensive: The goal of this series of lessons is for students to understand media, techniques and processes in art. Students will understand how to initiate and solve visual art problems using the elements and principles of art. Students will study master artists throughout history and see how visually, spatially, and functionally art is related to culture and history. Students will learn how to analyze a work a work of art. They will understand how to assess the merits of their own work. Students will look at the connection between the visual arts and other disciplines. An ebook version is also available in color per request.
