What is an MPE graduation ceremony like?
One of the highlights of the homeschool experience will be to see your student accept their high school diploma after so many years of work, patience, and growth in both character and education.
This is a wonderfully encouraging event for both veteran homeschoolers and those considering homeschooling as members of the next generation prepare for the next stage of their lives.
The ceremony is student led with a class feel, yet also personalized as parents pronounce a special blessing over their graduate.
I’m sorry, but the last deadline to declare an intention to graduate with MPE’s 2021 class was at our October 2020 graduation meeting, and no appeals are accepted after that meeting.
A possible option that I know some homeschool families do is to graduate their children early, but still go through the experience of an MPE graduation when they come of age. For example, I graduated when I was 16, but my parents still arranged for me to go through graduation with MPE two years later when I was 18. Let us know whether you can graduate your senior in the class of 2022, in which case we’re happy to provide you with more details.
