The Kansas City area abounds with enrichment programs, athletic opportunities, and co-operatives (often called co-ops) for homeschool families! In fact, newbies can often feel overwhelmed before they even start.

In this webinar, we’ll help you cut through the noise by considering your family’s specific needs. For example, are you looking for “on-site” where parents stay with their students throughout the experience? Or do you prefer “drop-off” options where children learn from third-party educators (and parents continue the learning at home)?

Pricing can also affect your decision-making process, and we’ll discuss ways to budget for – and hopefully save on – tuition costs, enrollment fees, and more.

Finally, make sure you’ve considered “important intangibles” such as the program’s vision and mission, legal factors, and conflict-resolution policies!

Shanxi Omoniyi is MPE’s online content director. A homeschool alumna who graduated with MPE, she now oversees the website and other online accounts, social media, and email marketing. She also works with different MPE committees, such as the conference and Women’s Encouragement Day committees. She is very grateful to have been homeschooled and now homeschools her own children!
