How To Homeschool Webinars

We have TWO homeschool webinars in the next few months! Both are free and require only a name and email address.

Choosing Homeschool Curriculum: What’s Right For Your Family (10-11 a.m. June 1)

Curriculum options can feel overwhelming – both to homeschool veterans and newbies alike! From all-in-one packages to DIY resources, curriculum is one more tool that can help or hinder your teaching.

This webinar will discuss ways to research curriculum, “try-before-you-buy” options, and keeping within your set budget. We’ll explore customizing your curriculum for specific needs such as learning disabilities, multiple grades, and more.

Finally, we’ll have a live Q&A time from our audience. Bring all the questions you’ve ever had about curriculum but were afraid to ask!

Homeschooling in Kansas or Missouri: Journey to Educational Freedom! (10-11 a.m. July 13)

We’ll help you set expectations, meet legal requirements, and choose philosophies for your family. Learn how to implement state laws – either Kansas or Missouri – into your daily schedule as a busy mo, and stay organized in the process.

Are you overwhelmed with keeping records, teaching different ages and grades, or accommodating students with special needs? Have no fear! Homeschooling is inherently customizable to each student. We’ll discuss how to use free or low-cost tools available in your community to best fit your unique family.

Leave with the resources and confidence you need to begin or continue your homeschool journey!

Webinar Speaker

Shanxi Omoniyi is MPE’s online content director. A homeschool alumna who graduated with MPE, she now oversees the website and other online accounts, social media, and email marketing. She also works with different MPE committees, such as the conference and Women’s Encouragement Day committees. She is very grateful to have been homeschooled and now homeschools her own children!
