Our 2025 speaker needs have been met.

Please check back in June 2025 to submit workshop requests for our 2026 spring conference!

Official Workshop Policy (please read before applying)

As a nonprofit ministry dedicated to serving homeschoolers, MPE does not typically provide financial compensation or provide vendor booths in exchange for speaking at our workshops. Our speakers understand that they are helping provide a much-needed ministry of encouragement, support, and training for our homeschool community. We have a limited number of workshop sessions available and unfortunately cannot accommodate every request.

The Workshop Coordinator will contact you if your workshop presentation(s) are determined applicable to the overall need and theme of our conference. The MPE Conference Committee makes the final decision as to which speakers are invited and reserves the right to accept or reject any speaker, without explanation.

Workshop tracks

Every workshop has been assigned to a specific track, but please don’t rely too heavily on track names. Read each workshop description so you know what to expect:

BIBLICAL FAMILY

This track addresses a variety of biblical aspects of family, home, and school. Many of these workshops are presented by our featured speakers.

HOW TO TEACH

Find direction for your family through workshops focusing on a variety of topics such as personality styles, generating a following through social media, and keeping your family safe online.

MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL & BEYOND

When preschoolers and elementary kiddos shift into upper grades and careers, homeschooling looks different. Come learn how to continue reaping the blessings of home education as your students mature into upper grades and pursue God’s calling.

COMPASS

Whether you’re homeschooling while single (or feel single because of your spouse’s vocation), wanting the nuts and bolts on fostering and/or adopting, or considering a writing career as a mom, this track gives direction in a variety of very specific areas.

UNIQUE LEARNERS

Each year our special needs coordinator invites experts in this field to help us help our students learn. Whether your child struggles with dyslexia, autism, or the unique needs of gifted learners, you will be encouraged!
