PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)
2023 PSAT opportunity for homeschoolers
St. Thomas Aquinas High School (114th & Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS) is offering to administer the PSAT/NMSQT to homeschooled students, when they test their students on Wednesday morning, Oct. 11, 2023.
Fifty spaces are available for us. Juniors (students who will graduate in the 2024-25 school year) who take the PSAT are eligible for the National Merit scholarship program.
Sophomores and freshmen are welcome (as space allows) to take the test as practice.
NEW for 2023 (Please Read Before Registering)
The PSAT is all digital this year. Students will need to bring their own laptops (or other fully charged devices) to take the test since there is no hard-copy paper option. Homeschool students will be in a classroom, not in a gym. There will be a first-come, first-serve for outlets. Students will want to bring their own extension cord so they can make sure they can reach an outlet.
(Check what the College Board advises you to bring on this page.)
This is a non-refundable event. Registration is $35 for MPE members at the Family tier or higher, and $50 for everyone else.
