Homeschool ID cards can serve many useful purposes. Probably the one you’re most familiar with is the ability to get special teacher discounts at stores such as Office Depot, Hobby Lobby, Barnes & Noble, PBS, and many more.
These discounts come in especially handy when you’re purchasing school supplies, educational materials, arts and crafts, electronic items, and even clothing for your students!

How can you get a homeschool ID card?
We’re so glad you asked! One handy and affordable way is through MPE.
This wallet-sized, laminated teacher ID card gives you access to many teacher discounts. Here’s a list in alphabetical order (feel free to add others we may have missed)!
- Academy Sports Bi-Annual Teacher Appreciation discount of 10% off – Show card
- Barnes and Noble – Show Card
- Eddie Bauer – Show Card
- Michaels Stores – Show card
- Target Circle – 20%
- Submitted letters should have curriculum, enrollment status and date, name of registered school with address and be signed or stamped by verified curriculum provider or homeschool organization.
- Once verified, SheerID automatically updates your status in the Target Circle App.
- Verified teachers gain access to exclusive savings throughout the year. Twice a year during Teacher Appreciation Week and Back to School (month or week), they receive 20% off a one-time purchase (school supplies or other non school supplies).
- Discount should automatically register at check out online (needs to be during the promotion time frames). If you’re shopping in store and your verification does not automatically register with your phone number, you can ask an associate for help.
